Set up Supervisor when Supervisor is on vacation.
Set up A operator when A operator is on vacation.
Provided on-the-job training to newly hired workers and team members
Control and monitor multiple steam pressure's and flows for entire plant site, and adjust sulfuric plant rates to accommodate increased/decreased steam demand.
Monitor Sulfuric acid inventory to insure proper tank levels are maintained.
Monitor SO2, PPM, and O2 emissions of sulfuric acid plant and comply with State Air Quality Regulations.
Monitor Plant site Sulfuric Acid usage.
Monitor DPW water system and usage across plant site.
Monitor Deep well Pumps for well collapses.
Operate Turbo-generator maximizing mega-watts produced.
Monitor and adjust incoming Power for plant/site by contacting power company and adding or removing capacitors.
Perform Safety Team Leader meeting's, and submit safety projects.
Contact security team during upset plant conditions, and report spills to environmental.
Contact and coordinate Hazmat/Emergency response team when a chemical spill occurs.
Communicate with Power company on Turbo-generator down time.
Monitor all Sulfuric plants, adjusting rates according to demand from other departments.
Providing instructions/incite to fellow operators on situations that arise while operating plants.
Trouble shooting infield issues as need using PNID's and process knowledge.
Operate Reverse Osmosis System, increasing rates as sulfuric plant rates increase.
Respond to adverse situation when equipment failures occur in other departments.
Conducted safety inspections and follow all safety rules and procedures.
Recorded inside and outside process readings on daily log sheets.
Adhered to EPA and OSHA regulations.
Perform Lock out Tag outs on equipment and comply with safety protocols.
