- Spent 2 years at 26 Federal Plaza as a mechanic on the 4 pm to 12 pm shift - Maintaining all engine room areas for BOMA.
- Color-matched paint to equipment and function from high-pressure steam to chilled water in and out to drain lines - insulated pipe where needed.
- Preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. Punching tubes on 3 high-pressure steam turbines (They were replaced with electric drive chillers for my last year on the job). Tube cleaning on package units on tenant floors.
- Assist head engineers with larger repairs. Pulling pumps out to ceilings on tenant floors.
- Servicing all house calls for tenants of the building.
- Plumbing all bathroom operations - Flushometers, vacuum breakers, partitions, and sink operations.
- Ceramic tiling, carpet tiles, wood floors, cove base, sheetrock, wood, and aluminum framing.
- Fire suppression system maintenance and testing.
- Locating leaks in refrigerant systems, cutting out the compromised section of copper tube, and replacing it.
- Pipe joining, both PVC and Copper pipe.
