I have great understanding of technical operations in CNC programming with much experience in setting up, proofing-out and operation of the CNC machines, as well as other NC programs outside of Fanuc. Sound experience in operating computer numerically controls on Fanuc production machines. Excellent ability to read, follow and develop operating instructions according to bluprints and procedures required by my employer. Good knowledge of computers/programs, such as Microsoft Office, Predator, CAD/CAM, Solidworks, and fusion 360, to name a few (also utilize a dozen reference and simulation apps on phone/tablet). Project planning with oversight and knowledgeable processes to make adjustments if needed and ability to quickly and accurately to switch over to other projects when needed to fulfill production and employer needs. Remarkable ability to read blueprints and drawings; and the use inspection and measuring instruments to consistently produce within tolerance parts, whether its an order of 10 or 10,000 parts. Outstanding ability to trouble shoot complex system (electrical and mechanical) and use my knowledge of inner working of the machines to do regular maintenance and repairs if needed.
Operated numerous CNC and Manual Lathes/Mills. Worked with EMCO lathes/mills when I began, then moved onto Fanuc machines such as Kia, Wia, Doosan.
Last year I did most of my own Fanuc programming for the machines, 3 Kia and 1 Wia Lathe. During such, I had to negotiate between fanuc i, oi, 21i, and 31i, and what all differences that inferred. Last 6 months was spent interpreting blueprints programming, setting up turrets(so that they were preforming there best), proofing parts, track my run of parts, inventory them before sending to main shop, and also utilizing any senior machinists for double and triple checks of accuracy.
Trained and supervised junior welders to use proper techniques, apply best practices and comply with quality standards. Fabricated shop parts directly from blueprints. Inspected welds for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Worked with many larger CNC and Manual Lathes. most weeks was spent just handling day to day of machining (very basic coding). Would also liaise with the welding department with training, welding, and welding inspections.
Always have been good with Math. while in college I was able to take several semester that were able to advance my current knowledge in Algebra, Geometry, and Triginometry, which has trully helped in fully understanding the complexities that go into Programming CNC machines.
