Experienced Superintendent with over 20 years of progressive experience in the Public Works Department of the City of Boston. Demonstrated expertise in construction management, safety and compliance, snow removal contracts, and project management. Skilled in effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking, with a strong ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with constituents and interdepartmental stakeholders. Currently serving as the department's representative for the COBs CRT Coordinated Response team, which was formed to address the homelessness and opioid crisis following the closing of the Long Island bridge. One of the original members with over 10 years of service, regularly collaborating with other city/state agencies and community groups in the area. Additionally, worked closely with BPD and homeland security to develop, refine, and implement the blocking vehicle program for ensuring safety during large-scale events, races, festivals, and dignitary visits. Successfully supervised activities and responded to emergencies and incidents firsthand during these events. Played a key role in the search committee responsible for procuring a new operating system for the city's 311/constituent response management system. This involved an extensive several-month process of evaluating proposals, researching data, and reviewing presentations.
