Work History

Production Technician

Linde
03.2022 - Current
  • Troubleshot equipment malfunctions quickly to minimize disruptions in production schedules.
  • Worked closely with other technicians to solve issues.
  • Assisted in quality control measures by performing routine inspections of products against established standards.
  • Performed setup of production equipment to establish optimal performance.
  • Completed multiple projects for our plants and around our facility to keep a better work facility.
  • Learned how to start two separate plants that run somewhat similar but the process is a little different.
  • Participated in multiple turn-around. This includes working closely with contractor's, I&E technicians, process engineers, controls engineer, and maintenance contractors. While a turn-around is happening I keep a very controlled work environment and safety is my main focus.
  • While doing projects I was able to learn to do MOC and MVF. Learning how to do MOC and MVF allowed me to work with our Quality department to be sure we are doing everything inside of our specs correctly. This also taught me to read and comprehend our standards.
  • While at this job I have regular work orders that need to be completed every month, three months, six months and our yearly work orders. Varies from climbing a one hundred and fifty foot column to checking with our engineers to see if we needed to change parts, filters, oil, or make changes to the process of the plants.
  • With this job we must complete weekly and monthly analyzer calibrations. This process has taught me to be thorough in my work, keep a close eye on what changes I am making, and take my time to ensure I do the job correctly.
  • I am trained in LOTO (lock out and tag out). LOTO training ensures confidence that I will perform a job in the correct way and that all moving parts are in a safe position. This helps me minimize the possibility of a incident.
  • This job has taught me how to read a P&ID (process and instrumentation diagram). Being able to read this allows us to do our LOTOs correctly before we start with a project, maintenance or changing the process of the plant.
  • A significant part of my job involves being active on the computer. This includes writing and answering emails, looking up and buying parts, keeping up with work orders, looking up SMPs (Standard maintenance procedure) and SOPs (Standard operating procedure). I also create spread sheets, MOCs, MVFs and create new calibration sheets.
  • Performed regular calibration checks on instruments ensuring precision measurements throughout the production process.
  • Participated in root cause analysis investigations for recurring issues, identifying solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Increased workplace safety, conducting thorough hazard assessments and implementing corrective actions.
  • Promptly documented and reported all defective equipment and hazardous conditions.
  • Lubricated and cleaned parts to perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
  • Evaluated data from production runs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement to optimize overall efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels daily.

CNC Machine Operator

Black Rain Ordnance
05.2020 - 03.2022
  • Properly loaded and unloaded materials in and out of machines.
  • Performed daily cleaning to keep machines in good working condition and prolong equipment lifespan.
  • Inspected finished parts by checking for defects to meet quality standards.
  • Increased product quality by adhering to strict tolerances and carefully monitoring machining processes.
  • Monitored machines during operation to make adjustments when necessary and produce quality parts.
  • Maintained tight tolerances with design specifications.
  • Trained and coached new team members on proper machine set-up procedures.
  • Moved finished work to correct staging area for disposition.
  • Input instructions to program CNC machines to control machine movement and produce parts to specification.
  • Manually set up machinery, lathes, and grinders.
  • Learned and followed safety procedures to keep machines operated safely and prevent accidents.
  • Kept accurate operating records by documenting machine usage, production numbers and any issues that arose.
  • Helped maintain inventory by tracking materials and tools to keep resources readily available and easily accessed.
  • Improved workplace safety, conducting regular inspections and promptly addressing any hazards or mechanical issues.
  • Adhered to high level of safety by following company rules and regulations to prevent injuries.
  • Exceeded productivity targets consistently, skillfully managing time and workload to achieve outstanding results.
  • Supported quality control and inspection processes to promote production of quality products.
  • Collaborated with quality assurance teams to ensure manufactured components met or exceeded customer expectations regarding fitment, finish, functionality.
  • Enhanced operational efficiency, organizing work area and tools for quick changeovers between jobs.

Kennel Maintenance

Arrow Valley
02.2012 - 05.2020
  • Trained new staff on kennel maintenance, animal care and feeding protocols.
  • Improved operational protocols, drafting and updating procedure manuals for kennel maintenance and animal care practices.
  • Repair facilities including canine gates, fences, feeders, and insulated outdoor and indoor housing.
  • Conducted routine maintenance on shop equipment to prolong its lifespan while minimizing costly repairs or replacements.
