Summary

Automation and infrastructure engineer with hands-on experience in IIoT, SCADA, and modern DevOps tools. Comfortable working with Ignition by Inductive Automation, Kubernetes, Proxmox, virtualization, and data collection for Industry 4.0 projects. I’ve spent time troubleshooting complex systems, wiring and configuring hardware, setting up networks and servers, and helping teams document and standardize their processes. I enjoy connecting the dots between automation, IT/OT infrastructure, and data visualization to create practical solutions that make manufacturing smarter and more efficient.

Work History

AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Toyota Motor North America
Georgetown, Kentucky
01.2023 - Current
  • Built and managed Proxmox clusters, Kubernetes clusters, and VM templates for testing and deployment.
  • Imaged and configured industrial PCs, edge devices, and sensors, validating performance through testing and data acquisition.
  • Wired and racked servers, set up dedicated plant networks, and documented deployment standards for repeatable use.
  • Installed and tested Ignition SCADA, connecting systems with databases and MQTT brokers for reliable data flow.
  • Used MQTT extensively for real-time data collection and integration between devices, SCADA, and enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshot issues across hardware, networks, SCADA gateways, and databases to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Evaluated and tested new technologies, providing feedback before wider rollout.

Assembly Line Production Worker

Toyota Motor Manufacturing
