  • Wedding Anniversary Celebration, My husband and I were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary and were joined by three couples who are our best friends. The evening was wonderful, we enjoyed delicious food, incredible service from our pal Danny and superb wines from their fantastic wine list. We will remember this evening for a long time because everything was perfect!!!!
  • One of Savannah's Best, After enjoying a show at the Lucas Theater, four of us had drinks and dinner at 45 Bistro. It was outstanding. General Manager Danny Steinfeldt as usual was everywhere. Nobody hustles for his customers more. Our dinner was outstanding. Not sure of what the other two had, but two of us had the black grouper and it was terrific. James at the bar pours some of the best martinis in town and is proud of it. He likes when you challenge him. Bottom line: 45 Bistro is a must when visiting Savannah.
  • Incredible Service and Level of Care!, We held a small gathering for my best friend's wedding rehearsal dinner. Danny and his staff were incredible. They had the room set up safely with a level of intimacy that was absolutely perfect. The staff was always ready to take drink orders and accommodate everyone individually. The food and service I don't think would have been rivaled anywhere else in Savannah. And I say this after being here 16 years and working in the restaurant industry downtown for seven of them. Absolutely a five star recommendation!
  • There is a Reason for the General Consensus of 4 and 5 Stars for 45 Bistro!, That could explain the number in the name. They provide nothing less than wonderful food and service. I was first more than pleased with Danny, the GM, and our server for the evening. Well, it was him and two others that were not in the least bit glommy. They brought us plates in orchestral fashion, ebbing and flowing without getting in each other's ways or crowding us. Each plate was delivered and removed this way. The first plate was a split of the foie gras and pate appetizer. They split everything for the two of us, and it started with this beautiful duck liver, arugula dressed in truffle oil, and bread. The piece of pate was thick and rich. We were spoiled. We followed up the pate with a salad of grilled hearts of romaine. Again, they split it perfectly down the middle. It was by far the best Caesar I have ever had, with its smoke and salty parmesan shards. The croutons were even elevated. I was all about duck that evening. I went with the duck pizza for my entrée, and I finished every last piece. The duck was shredded and moist, smoky and tender, complemented by the briny feta and sharp red onion. Pinot all day long with this entire meal. Danny knew how to match 'delicious' and 'scrumptious' with wine that was equally wonderful. Thank you for a fabulous last meal in Savannah.
  • I Cannot Say Enough Wonderful Things About 45 Bistro and Danny Steinfeldt, We hosted a small wedding reception in one of their private rooms. Danny was so meticulous in making sure the menu was exactly what we wanted. We left vases, candles, and menus and the staff did a wonderful job in decorating the room for us. The food was spectacular! It was truly a magical experience. I would highly recommend hosting an event at 45 Bistro.
