- Install, remove, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution and communication systems on Southern California Edison property.
- Install and remove utility poles, cross arms, enclosures, ducts, piping, transformers, switches, capacitors, reclosers, potheads, and protective devices.
- Perform splicing, bonding, terminating, and testing of electrical conductors and cable.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment using amp meters, volt meters, ohm meters, phasing sets, cable test sets, fault finders, and cable locators.
- Work safely on or near energized lines using approved PPE, tools, and safety procedures.
- Operate construction vehicles and auxiliary-powered equipment.
- Train and guide apprentices and helpers, while maintaining productivity and safety.
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, ANSI, GO-95, and GO-128 requirements.

- Progressed from Groundman to Journeyman Lineman through hands-on utility field experience.
- Assisted in the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground distribution systems.
- Performed climbing, rigging, equipment installation, and energized line work under Edison safety standards.
- Installed and maintained electrical equipment including transformers, switches, capacitors, and protective devices.
