The Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials from vendors needed to fulfill customer orders. Maintains and performs vendor selection, price negotiation, and inventory level adjustments as needed in order to support multiple sites. Always striving for excellence while meeting performance expectations with minimal errors or defects by focusing on continuous improvement and consistent work practices in order to insure customer satisfaction and ICT quality standards.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works directly with ICT’s R&D team to identify reliable and quality sources for new raw materials. Orders samples as needed from identified suppliers
Uses ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to place new purchase orders, confirm existing purchase orders, follow-up and reschedule purchase orders as needed to optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands and quality requirements
Maintains accurate pricing and lead-time for each raw material based upon available price breaks, contracts, date, and vendor
Resolves material shortages in the most cost efficient and timely manner possible
Works directly with Quality, Production, and Shipping/Receiving departments to oversee and coordinate returns of defective materials, unapproved material, or other non-conformance issues for raw materials
o Confers with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods and/or services in order to find resolution and to determine appropriate corrective action
Works to reduce pricing of existing materials through negotiation, vendor selection, or consolidation while always striving for top quality materials
Maintains finished product replacement costs for Sales, Supply Chain and other top-level management as needed
Keeps Sales, Supply Chain and other top-level management informed of significant raw material price changes
Works with Quality department on maintaining approved supplier and manufacturer lists
Gathers and provides information as needed for compliance concerning Restrictions of Hazardous Substances, conflict materials, and other initiatives determined by customer or governmental agencies
Remains informed and abreast of issues, and/or trends around the world that may impact materials used by our company and customers; proactively communicate any concerns with Senior Leadership
Remains updated and informed of any supply and demand laws or regulation changes that may impact the organization by monitoring market conditions, price trends, and future markets through industry periodicals, trade journals, and/or trade organizations

• Responsible for all quality of maintenance and maintenance safety concepts minimizing the
occurrence of defects from the start of maintenance operation to its completion.
• Ensured compliance with applicable technical publications through the use of maintenance
instruction manuals for the appropriate type/model/series aircraft, associated systems, aviation
support equipment, and aeronautical components.
• Provided technical expertise for continued process improvement and to Fleet Support Team on
engineer matters affecting supported squadrons.
• Ensured detailed investigations were conducted and accurately debriefed through the chain of
command for both Navy and Marine Corps higher headquarters on all maintenance and supply
deficiencies.
• Liaised with all subordinate supported Navy and Marine Corps squadrons and their quality
assurance departments to ensure safe maintenance practices and Naval Aviation Maintenance
Programs (NAMP) compliance
