I was the first field mechanic hired to start Piedmont Facilities Management in 2001, later progressing to Operations Manager and then to Vice President, a position I have held for the last 10 years

• Maintained hundreds of long-term client relationships, many lasting the entire 23 years
• Coordinated work order completion daily.
• Direct supervision of the Office and Operations Managers
• Organize and oversee the maintenance and improvements of over 3 million sq. ft. of residential, commercial, and municipal buildings in Central Virginia

• Coordinating the Field Mechanics use of technology to record daily activity insuring its communication with Service Management for our internal accounting and invoicing process
• In 2023 the field employees performed over 18,000 billable hours with zero work related injuries.

• Progressed from Junior Firefighter to the rank of Chief in my career as a volunteer
• Served on the Albemarle County Fire Advisory Board which reported to Albemarle County Supervisors
• Managed the Seminole Trail Fire Department budget
• Produced quarterly Chief’s Reports for the department’s Board of Directors
• Managed 5 employees and over 80 volunteers answering over 2,500 calls for service annually
• Coached and trained new volunteers, experienced Firefighters, Driver Pump Operators and Chief Officers
• Developed and changed Standard Operating Procedures as necessary to maintain safety
• Coordinated with Albemarle County on the $3-million-dollar renovation of the fire station without disruption to emergency services.
• Certified driver of all equipment including our 100' ladder-tower.
