I have 8 years of experience in the framing industry. I mainly focus on residential homes, remodels from the ground up. I can read a tape precisely and lay out PT when it comes to post and beam. I can also use a nail framer safely and accurately. I am comfortable walking on joists and nailing off blocks, walking walls when needed. I can start a fresh post & beam from ground up properly deck & stagger sheets. I can prepare 2x6 plates to start walls, I can read lay out and cut headers to prepare walls. Sheet walls to the proper drop to connect to the rim of the post beam or 2nd floor rims. I am aware of top plates, squaring and plumbing line. I can sheet roofs and give out measurements for hips and valleys, I am knowledgeable on over frames, comfortable with working on roofs such as rolling trusses, sheeting them. I am aware of OSHA procedures and always follow them. I mainly read others layouts and assemble walls accordingly. I can read a blue print but could use more hands on practice, I can prepare walls for layout. I can install door trim, base board, I’ve installed cabinets, small fixtures. I am physically able to lift 50+ lbs, I am punctual and always carry a positive growth attitude. I enjoy framing/Carpentry and take pride in my work, day in and day out.
