 I was awarded the My Boss is a Patriot Award twice. The award is awarded to a civilian that has demonstrate a willingness to allow employees to fulfill the military obligation. I had several employee that were servicemen and servicewomen. The time away afforded them the time to prepare for whatever was to come. Defending our nation is one of the biggest sacrifices that an employee can make. The very less we can do for those that go out and defend this great nation, is allowing them the time to prepare. Their sacrifice is our freedom.
