This is a week-long camp that takes place during the first week of June every summer. I have been a counselor at this camp for five years, and it's a lot of fun. Each year, I work with a random group of girls, typically around 7 to 8 years old. Throughout the week, we engage in various activities such as hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, archery, and earning badges.

The most important aspect of the camp for the girls is earning badges, which they can add to their vests. It is a significant responsibility to lead 20 young girls through an eight-hour day, but it’s worth it every time.

During this job, I had to watch two dogs and a hamster. It was every few weeks for at least a week. I had to be there 5 times a day for 15-30 minutes. It was close to my house, so typically I would walk most of the time.

This was during the summer, for one night, and it lasted about 6 hours. There were 3 kids under the age of 7. I provided dinner for them, and we watched movies and ate dessert! It was very easy to get them to bed because they were very well behaved. The parents communicated well and had everything very straight forward of what the kids needed.
