In my current role as a PSN/PCT I have hands-on experience providing direct patient care under nursing supervision and serve as a vital member of the nursing care team.

My Job role includes:

• Monitor and communicate changes in patient's condition to registered nurse, facilitating prompt interventions.
• Execute blood draw procedures, contributing to timely and accurate laboratory results.
• 12 lead EKG
• Record vital signs and report abnormalities/changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with personal hygiene needs of patients and monitor fluid input and output.
• Support infection control measures by adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve overall patient care delivery.
• Observe medical procedures to advance nursing student knowledge

Clinical rotations at HCA Kingwood this semester have been primarily in the cardiac and neuro IMU and ICU units.

Completed clinical rotations in various departments including 3west, 2south, CDU, and 5south west at Memorial Hermann Northeast.

Completed clinical rotation emphasizing foundational nursing skills and providing care for patients with significant needs in activities of daily living.

• Led day-to-day operations, overseeing hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
• Utilized sales analytics and financial reporting to pinpoint opportunities and drive improvements in department performance.
• Implemented promotions and customer engagement strategies while maintaining inventory accuracy and merchandising standards.
• Trained staff on product knowledge, service standards, and safety procedures; reinforced accountability and continuous improvement.
