Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
I reignited my passion for writing during the pandemic and was fortunate enough to have my debut poetry book published at Barnes and Noble last year. I look forward to writing and publishing more books in the future.
I was offered the job on the spot because the position needed to be filled urgently. Being a quick learner, I started working immediately after completing my training, which took less than a week. Initially, I worked as a desk clerk, where my primary responsibilities were to create customer orders for medical shipments, answer calls and emails promptly from sales reps, customer (doctor) orders, coordinators, and supervisors. The orders were created in a special system and recorded in excel files.
After three years, I was promoted to the position of distribution coordinator, where I managed the Medline branch and customer orders along with preparing several types of reports that needed to be submitted promptly. My responsibility was to ensure that every shipment order was dispatched as required, especially the urgent cases. I ensured that everything was reported to the appropriate people in the company and helped rectify any errors in the system as requested.
