Responsible childcare professional experienced in guiding children and documenting learning and development. Background leading fun activities to teach new skills and encourage growth. In addition I like to play guitar, I like to sing with the kids, and to make little sculptures. I always try to keep them active and to give my best for them.
I cared for a nine-month-old baby as a full-time nanny, providing attentive one-on-one care and supporting his development through daily outdoor activities, visits to the zoo, music, dancing, and guitar time. I prepared healthy homemade meals, including soups, vegetables, pastas, and some Colombian foods like arepas, which he loved. I maintained a clean and organized environment and followed all family routines. I built a strong relationship with the parents, and they are happy to provide references. The contract ended when the baby started daycare, and I am now looking for a new opportunity. I worked 40 hours a week.

I worked in a nanny-share arrangement with two families, caring for two infants. When I started, one baby was around 5–6 months old and the other was 8–9 months old. I began by caring for one baby a few days in May, and after about a month, I transitioned into caring for both babies together. I remained with the families for almost a year, working 24 hours per week (three days a week, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
My responsibilities included coordinating both babies’ schedules, matching nap times, feeding them (using the meals prepared by the parents), preparing bottles, and maintaining clean, organized play and care areas. I also supported their developmental activities and created a safe, engaging environment.
I regularly drove the babies to community centers and parks, took them on walks, and encouraged sensory and outdoor play. One of the families had a dog, and we often included the dog in our routine—so I am fully pet-friendly and comfortable managing pets while caring for children.
I maintained excellent communication with both families, and they are happy to provide references. This experience helped me grow significantly as a caregiver, and I continue to stay connected with one of the children, providing occasional weekend and evening care. We enjoy dancing, playing guitar, and learning new things together.
This nanny-share experience strengthened my skills in multitasking, infant care, schedule coordination, developmental activities, and building trusting relationships with families.

I cared for three wonderful children ages four months, four years, and five years. My responsibilities included dropping off and picking up the older children from school, while providing full-time care for the baby during the day. I handled feeding, diaper changes, bottle preparation, and maintaining a clean, organized home environment. I also cooked healthy meals for the children.
I planned engaging activities such as arts and crafts, music time, and dancing. As a Zumba instructor in my free time, I created fun movement sessions for the kids. I also play guitar and ukulele, which became one of the baby’s favorite activities. We always had a joyful and stimulating environment together.
I worked with the family for an extended period through the AuPair program, which is a cultural exchange and childcare internship. I was responsible for driving all three children safely to school, activities, and appointments. When the baby started daycare at one and a half years old, my role shifted to supporting the household during the day, including laundry, meal preparation, toy organization, and continued activity planning.
My experience with this family was deeply rewarding and strengthened my skills in childcare, organization, multitasking, and creating positive routines. It remains one of my most meaningful professional experiences.
I WORK 45 HOURS A WEEK
I worked as an elementary school teacher, managing classrooms of 20 or more children at a time. I held this position while studying architecture and searching for career opportunities, and I truly enjoyed the experience. Teaching allowed me to develop strong skills in childcare, organization, communication, and classroom management. This foundation prepared me for my transition to the United States, where I continued my career working as a nanny.
