As the OP Department Manager, my main role is to provide direct support to three OP Supervisors and, on average, 30 to 35 CM/CBRS/PS staff in implementing, managing, and maintaining OP standards of care based on OPTUM requirements. We are now implementing OP Standards, governed by Magellan.
I coordinate and set up the initial services for clients with the company for CM/CBRS and PS services.
Responsibilities: Create and implement training for CM/CBRS/PS staff to maintain ABM policies, OPTUM standards, and now through Magellan.
Audit weekly documentation, sending in authorization requests for OP units, setting up new OP services for new clients, creating and updating treatment plans, and coordinating services from outside referrals.
Monitor Magellan updates and implement changes when needed.
Monitoring Availity and assisting in the transition into this new program through Magellan.
Attend weekly management meetings and supervisor meetings, supporting Peer to Peer Meetings and meet weekly with OP staff to support them as they do their jobs.
