I am the current National Honor Society Vice President at my high school J.sterling Morton Highschool. I have 165+ hours of service towards my community. I play two varsity sports. I have a afterschool part time job. I am also involved in my high schools Spanish Honor Society and I am a libary Aid during school hours and a peer mediator which I practically break down conflict and help make the schooling environment a better place. I am a AP scholar and a TRIO UPWARD BOUND global leader. I am currently taking a CNA dual enrollment course and have take three other dual enrollment courses. I have received four scholarships to travel with my trio program here in Northeastern University (Tampa,Florida,Kansas City, Missouri, San Juan Puerto Rico, Barranquilla Colombia).I current am doing research to help bring opportunity to mycommunity through a new program call fountain of futures created by Megan Murgia NHS president.
I have been awarded the AP scholar honor by college board as of recent due to passing three or more AP exam tests. I will be honored during a program afterschool and this honor means a lot to me due to previously getting told I couldn't handle ap courses. This award show cases my hard work and determination.
