Few years back, as an avid recreational rock climber, (using harness, carabiners, professional rock climbing shoes, using own ropes) together with very experienced climbers we adventured to climb Grand Sasso D'Italia, il Corno Piccolo, with an elevation of 2655 m/8710 ft is the third summit of Grand Sasso range and one of the highest in the whole Appenines. Getting to the top it was the most elated moment of my life and a spectacular rewarding view I ever seen! Highly recommend it!
