  • During my watch period, in addition to the normal watch keeping duties in the engine room I had in management: - Maintenance and overhaul of steam boilers; - Maintenance and overhaul of starting air compressors, hull and automatisms; - Update of the total oil situation on board; - Update of the total chemical situation on board; - Control and maintenance of several hydraulic control units such as: ramps, rudders, stabilizer fins, pitch, thrusters, remote valves and watertight doors Management and care of on-board monographs and machinery manuals In conclusion, training of to the embarked engine cadet who cooperated during my watch.
