I wanted to be a pharmacist since high school and I began working in community pharmacy when I was 16 years old. The profession of pharmacy has changed so much over the last 26 years, allowing me to immunize patients, utilize test and treat, check A1C and cholesterol, in addition to filling prescriptions and counseling patients. I have been able to help our community in ways I never imagined would be possible when I first started on my journey to pharmacy. I would like to be a preceptor, assisting pharmacy students learning on their rotations. I had some very good experiences on my past rotations and would like to give students that positive experience that I had when in school.
