Fred is my current boss and mentor. He's always happy to share his vast knowledge of all things database related. He's old school, but never stops learning and teaching us new things.

It may seem like this has nothing to do with my current job, but it does. I love to write logic. When laws are written, they try to logically apply a principle to everyone. Then the courts test (troubleshoot) whether that logic is being applied as intended. If not, it's re-written. The same applies to code. I just like that code is much more clear cut as to what is right and wrong.
