Task oriented, fast paced, and goal oriented registered nurse looking to enhance nursing skills. Five total years of nursing experience with a wide variety of nursing positions. Nursing experience consisting of working on a fast-paced inpatient trauma unit at Miami Valley Hospital where I learned such a variety of bedside skills, teamwork, and time management. Work experience as a home health case manager where I later joined the IV core team where I learned many skills including sterile dressing changes, educating patients on being more independent, and promotion of avoiding hospital readmission. The last (and current) position I have obtained as a nurse is as an operating room nurse circulator at Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital, in Springfield, Ohio. There I've learned so much about management of patient care throughout the surgical experience. I thrive daily on getting tasks done by making lists, staying organized, and accomplishing said tasks. Currently aspiring a nursing position that I can continue to grow, as well as have more options with scheduling as I just had a new baby. Working as a team has been one of the best parts of nursing that I have experienced, as well as learning to be more independent in my critical thinking. I thirst for working closer with other medical staff as well as gaining more skills and knowledge to give the best quality care I can for my patients.
