Student Engagement Technician

  • Oversaw office inventory activities by accurately analyzed proper stock and budgetary restraints, consummate requisitions and shipment receiving.

  • Track and keep ETAP data current and use data to inform purchase decisions. Keep track of equipment for all Student Engagement Department staff. Analyze and merge data and information into spreadsheets for department work.
  • Compose, and proofread memos, letters, flyers, newsletters, design and update websites (Google, District Web Page, and social media etc.) and brochures for distribution to parents, departmental staff/District administration, schools, and outside agencies. Research, gather information, and process multiple professional development trainings in ESS.
  • Provide customer service and public relations to diverse population. Initiate problem-solving in absence of Director and Assistant Director.
  • Implement all paperwork and transactions pertaining to hiring of District personnel for department including: requesting position creation, creating and monitoring job postings; submitting background screening requests; submitting job offer to HR for approval; and I-9 verification.
