• Interim special education instruction and support for 2 ICT preschool classrooms as PCSD awaits licensing requirements of new agency (previously provided by TGCW-see below)
• Plan and differentiate instruction
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers
• IEP goal tracking, Quarterly updates, CPSE meetings
• Train staff on addressing social emotional/behavioral concerns for students
• Present professional development topics to staff schoolwide
• Participate in building level RTI meetings and planning

• Provide individualized instruction for students awaiting out of district placements

• Oversee comprehensive special education services for preschoolers, in both integrated and self-contained settings, through partnership with the Peekskill City School District
• Ensure that all Individual Education Programs are implemented, including coordinating related services of Speech/Language, Occupational, and Physical Therapy
• Create physical environments and protocols to maximize student success
• Assist teachers in managing behaviors, student dysregulation, and crisis intervention
• Attend CPSE meetings, report to the PCSD on student progress and advocate for changes in services as needed
• Connecting with parents, outside providers, pediatricians, food pantries, and resource centers to support students' needs in the classroom, home, and community
• Participate in building level RTI committees to develop and implement Tier 1 and 2 supports and systems for general education classrooms
• Hire and onboard program staff
• Manage inventory/ordering of equipment and materials
• Coordinate and supervise ESY program for 12:1:2 class

Therapeutic Day Treatment Program

• Responsible for instruction and behavioral supports in a 6:1:1 self-contained, therapeutic classroom for students who are classified with an Emotional Disturbance
• Differentiated instruction and modify materials to match students' individual academic and emotional needs
• Develop IEPs, track goals, provide updates, and participate in CPSE meetings with each student's home district
• Collaborate with therapeutic treatment team and related service providers
• Communicate with parents, support and respond to parent/child interactions, and address questions and concerns during bimonthly Parent Luncheons
