  • In (P) pediatric patients, do (I) distraction techniques during medical procedures compared to (C) those with no distraction techniques result (O) in less pain scores?
  • Research strongly supports the use of different types of distraction techniques in lowering pain and anxiety experiences among children when they are undergoing other medical procedures that are known to be painful. The outcomes show how well different distraction techniques work to lessen children's pain and anxiety, which can have a variety of effects on the medical profession.
