Purposeful worker that is excellent at prioritizing and multitasking. I have 7 years experience in Transportation and Operations and ready for the next step in my career. Only by accident did I find that I excelled at staging, and routing. I have taken a breif dip in the dispatching pool and want to learn more. I make it my job to communicate with my coworkers so we are all on the same page, and also to gain a better perspective of the process in it’s entirety. Because of this I am prepared when questions arise, and if I don’t know the answer I can get you the person that handles that area. I am a loyal company worker that makes decisions based on cost effectiveness while still maintaining the company's integrity. Two of the most important keys for success is accountability and communication. I carry them both with me in my professional and personal life.
When the pandemic first hit I was entrusted to run most of operations by myself @ US Foods. In addition to working out the logistics for each load, I aided in keeping the workflow running efficiently between each department. This included freezer, cooler, dry, loaders, switchers, and drivers.
I had also on my own time wrote the SOP for the truck builder position, this was handed out to the supervisors. I enjoy working on outlines that present ways to be more cost effective and how to utilize time.
I always find it rewading when a driver thanked me for improving the accessibility to their load. I have numerous emails and text from Supervisors and Drivers thanking me for looking into things for them.
