  • Completed over 1500 incident tickets regarding technical or curriculum issues and concerns in EdKeys infrastructure.
  • Planned and completed 10+ changes via the SolarWind platform. These changes will range from system management updates and configurations to infosec updates or upgrades.
  • Planned and directed the following implementations to streamline labor and technical intensive duties:

1. Inventory management guidelines including S.O.Ps and implementing the power of Microsoft Teams to create a system that will assure inventory will be current as a result.

2. I am able to reduce the amount of time and employees it takes to enroll Chromebook devices to the Google Workstation by utilizing the GoBox and learning how to write its script we can now enroll 16 device at once. Creating this procedure reduced the enrollment time by 60%.

3. In the Rukus Wireless Controller I planned and deployed a new wireless design for staff, students, and guests i.e., incidents created regarding Chromebook connectivity were reduced by 80%. The new design contributed to a 85% increase in device internet connection on the first attempt.

4. IT department procedures that have proven in time to help with ticket handling time, customer service guidelines, proper troubleshooting steps to configure and repair EdKey devices. Other procedures include Inventory management, site scheduling, system training and operational training.

5. I configured Google Workstation OUs to research the behavior of devices updates, storage, and data. These few but impactful changes did ameliorate the user experience and reduced incidents regrading slow or stuck Chromebooks by 90%

  • The Critical Call line was open to specialties that exceed in troubleshooting and identifying the issue with a network or a critical component in the companies day to day operations. I effectively analyzed out-of-service networks to restore connectivity and services to PetSmart locations within the hour across 3 countries.
  • Utilized VSphere to troubleshoot the site's primary and backup servers operating on a 2012 R2 Windows Server embedded in Dell Poweredge R410. VMware software was utilized to reach end-user devices for troubleshooting.
  • Completed all network component replacements over the phone with the store manager or on-site technician. Including Dell Poweredge R410 server DRAC replacements, Hard Drive replacements, and power supply replacements. Including Cisco Switches ie., traffic monitoring, maintaining ACLs, tunnel configuration, and module configuration/replacements.
  • Obtained PetSmarts TOPDOG Award by meeting and exceeding all required department performance data (metrics) in comparison to staff members in the IT department.
