- Began working while in high school, and worked to save money for my first car.

- Takes me 1-3 hours per shift to complete all my tasks, Sunday through Thursday.

- Maintain cleanliness of upper and lower lobbies, including vacuuming, mopping, and trash collection.

- Ensure parking garage floors (Levels 1-4) are clean by vacuuming and mopping up any stains.

- Was enrolled at Mt. Hood Community College to become a European car mechanic but decided not to do to the how much homework I was being given even when working full time.

- Performed oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, coolant flushes, diagnostics, pre-inspections, and courtesy checks.

- Maintained shop cleanliness and organization, taking on additional tasks during slow periods such as cleaning gutters, repainting parking lines, picked up and delivered parts if they didn’t make it onto a truck in time.

- Learned to restore faded headlights

- Assisted with fire safety procedures in the shop by observing fire marshal inspections.

Summer Seasons (2020-2024) – Boise/Meridian, ID

- Performed hard tasks, including heavy lifting and working in non air conditioned units during summer.

- Transported tile and flooring materials across job sites, and multiple floors.

- Prepped and protected installed tile and wood flooring to prevent damage from painters, electricians, and anyone else working there.

- Inspected job progress, directed workers to next job floor, and ensured nothing was missed.

Learned how to caulk and waterproof and did it anytime it slowed down.

- Mixed thinset with precisely to ensure it wasn’t to liquidy or solid so tile wouldn’t move when used.

- Cleaned and prepared areas for tile or flooring installation, including repairing damaged sections when needed.

Summer Seasons (2020-2024) – Boise/Meridian, ID

- Brothers Flooring/Tile business in Boise ID that I go help out with during the summer season.

- Performed job site cleanup and carried material and any other supplies needed.

- Transported and delivered flooring, tools, and supplies if we’re short on anything.

- Learned how to accurately install flooring in small spaces like closets, and how to properly install patterned wooden flooring.
