Perform daily rounds to ensure plant equipment is running properly and efficiently. Take samples on unit product for lab testing. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems that may occur with equipment inside the plant. Safely perform unit start-ups and shut downs. Perform LOTO and energy isolations for equipment being repaired by maintenance and contractors. Study unit drawings and P&ID's for certified areas. Attended LSU Fire School and Hazmat training annually.

• Perform work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues on mobile hydraulic cranes and boom trucks. Reading hydraulic/electrical schematics when needed to further diagnose issues. Perform checks over all safety functions, features and alarms. Fix issues and get machine ready to go out on rent or to go back to the customer. PDI's on new equipment to be rented out or sold.

• Worked at Marathon Garyville, Shintech, Air Products, Nutrien, Shell Geismar as a Journeyman Electrician. Measured, cut and threaded conduit. Ran conduit for transmitters and lights around the plant. Terminate process instruments. Troubleshooting instrument airlines. Pulled wire. Ran cable tray. Read and study drawings. Performed safe, quality work in a timely manner.

• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine errors on machines in the field and in chemical plants. Driving where ever needed to perform task on heavy equipment. Communicate with customers on what needs to be done. (cranes, forklifts, dozers, manlifts, skid steers, and excavators).

• Worked at Shell Norco as an Electrician Helper. Pulled wire through pipe racks, tray and conduit, ran and bent conduit. Made supports for cable tray and welders. Flagged for heavy equipment being operated around the plant, and spliced wires for lights on structures.
