I became a U.S. citizen in 2022 and am originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I have been living in the United States since November 2011. During that time, I attended school to learn English until January 2016. My passion for architecture and sustainable design led me to the Boston Architectural College in 2016, where I pursued a master’s degree in architecture and graduated in 2019. I have met all NCARB requirements, and I am currently preparing for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE). I have over a decade of experience working on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, daycare, and religious buildings. Currently, I am employed as an architectural designer and project manager at GSD Associates in North Andover, Massachusetts and I prepared a presentation regarding fire safety code and egress planning in commercial building. I am knowledgeable about energy, plumbing, and accessibility codes in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. To further my interest in sustainability, I have enrolled in LEED certification courses to become a LEED Green Associate.
