ME 2030 Flashlight: Created 2D and 3D drawings of a simple aluminum flashlight which were then used to manufacture a real, working product using mills and lathes.
ME 3270 Sand Casting Process Design: Used Solidworks to create models of each component required for the casting of a small elbow pipe, and designed the casting process for this pipe, including material, pouring and solidification times, and machining.
ME 4972 Senior Project: Designed and manufactured an "On-Land Para Hockey Sled", a specialized sled designed for paraplegic hockey players to practice the typically ice-based sport on more common surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, or hardwood floors. This project involved market research, budgeting and planning, 2D and 3D drawing and design, FEA studies, and machining.
