Job Responsibilities: Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning
patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate. Interprets, describes and reports test results; recognizes recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately. Monitors patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition. Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies and lab area. Other duties as assigned. Accomplishes at working under stressful conditions and irregular hours, exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.

Daily task of scrubbing and panning for all procedures done in cath lab. Check for expired supplies, replenishing supplies, monitor for cases, training new staff members. Strong leadership skills, educator for other technologist in dept and visiting RN, residences. Function in multiple roles during the day as required. Ability to educate the patient of procedure expectations before, during and after the procedure. CPT and coding for all procedures dept. Also a preceptor for techs and nurses.
