- Care Age of Brookfield (Center for Hospice and Physical Rehabilitation), Brookfield, WI, 75, Led activities for residents, moving them from room to room and giving them love and positivity to excite them for the activities we had set for them. Led them in exercise, mental challenges, and art projects to give them a sense of motion in a rather still home. Communicated with residents in visits, giving them the time and attention that many people do not give to hear their stories, complaints, and needs. Aided residents with Dementia, Alzheimer's, and other emotional and memory-related disorders with patience, caution, and deep respect.
- Redemptorist Retreat Center, Oconomowoc, WI, 74+, Spent a month planning and organizing the 136th Kairos retreat with five other student leaders and two faculty members. Collectively led a group of 27 retreatants, with 5 specifically assigned to me. Facilitated positivity and fun, while still corralling the energy of almost 30 highschool boys to stay in a reflective and spiritual demeanor. Led group prayers, reflection sessions, group therapy sessions, and gave a personal 30 minute talk on the subject of piety and the cyclical nature of Guilt. Encouraged and founded a close, safe bond between five men who were previously strangers to each other.
