Additional Information
Dante Miller worked for Rosendin electric as a groundsman. During shifts he did a wide array of tasks including delivering necessary components to journeymen in the field, help dig, lay and pull 3 phase cables and fiber optic cable to specifications for the Golden Hills Windmill project. Dante was tasked with removing rocks that could damage cables and back filling them with soft dirt. He delivered transformer bases and boxes to locations. Assisted with laying, leveling, and installing the transformer boxes to specifications. Assisted with the installation of grounding rods and rings as well as assisting with the digging of splice pits. Helped install pvc pipes, cable preparations for splicers and attach the top of the transformer box to the base and back filled the units. He helped install pvc pipe for a windmill base before the concrete was poured. Also, Dante has laid out and bent pvc pipes with a heat blanket, glued and installed piping for powerline drops, in order to allow the cranes to get in position. In addition to that, he helped install junction boxes to be grounded and leveled to specifications. He completed 1000 hours of work and showed up everyday ready and willing to learn.
