Summary
Dante Treacy, known for his ability to make others around him better. He has a true sense for the game and is constantly being a leader at the point guard position. His playmaking and ability to score on all three levels helps create for others to get them involved. On the defensive end, he will do whatever it takes to win. He will guard the opposing team's best player, has quick feet to stay in front, good physicality to wall up, quick hands for steals/deflections, and will sacrifice his body with charges. Not to mention his demonstrated ability to excel under pressure.
Has currently played three seasons professionally overseas. His rookie season being in Serbia and remaining two seasons in Puerto Rico. He’s had the opportunity to play alongside and learn from former NBA players and veterans such as JaVale McGee, Danilo Gallinari, Brandon Knight, and Wenyen Gabriel. Competing and working alongside these experienced professionals helped to develop an understanding for high level basketball strategy. When at UNCG, Treacy started all 32 games in the final season finishing with 236 points and scoring in double figures nine times. Prior to UNCG, Treacy was named the 2020 Northeast Conference Tournament MVP and All-Northeast Conference Tournament Team. Dante Treacy will be a key addition to any team and have an impact right away.
