Accomplishments

  • While serving onboard the USS Fitzgerald DDG 62, I was there during the collision on June 17, 2017. I was part of the first responders in maintaining integrity of the ship so she could stay afloat during that time.
  • Was part of the crew that brought her back to port.
  • Remained calm and did what needed to be done to save the ship; which included watching water level onboard, helped solve issues with equipment to dewater spaces.
