
Assistant video editors help the primary editors on post-production projects for film or television, reviewing the raw footage, logging each shot into the database for easy access, compiling requested footage, preparing the editing equipment and software, and loading up the videos before editing begins. Assist the preparation and administrative tasks necessary for editing, occasionally edit some portions of the project.
Proficiency in non-linear editing programs, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, AVID by Media Composer, or Final Cut X hands-on experience in the film industry
