Eager to apply for the position of Dance Teacher in SVUSD elementary schools. Background includes choreography in ballet, jazz, and modern dance, recital planning, performance management and dance instruction, of all skill levels. Passionate about instilling a love of dance in children, as well as techniques and strength for long-term benefits. Knowledge of the CSS for dance and fluent in Literacy for dance.

• 2023 to Present - Developed weekly Wellness workshops including breath awareness, mindful movement and meditation to enhance student's well being and self regulation.
• 2016 to Present - Choreographed and taught all 6th graders, up to 90 students, a farewell dance, to be performed at the final spirit assembly of the year. (videos available) Also taught themed dances for Harvest Festivals and STEM nights.
• 2003-2010 - Choreographed dance performances for my own children's elementary school classes, at Flory Elementary.
• 1992-1996 - Professional dance teacher teaching ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and country line dancing to children and adults of all ages, including choreographing, producing and directing annual performances.
• 1985-1992 -Professional dance career including: Taco Bell commercial, three time Star Search winner, music videos, back up dancer for Elvira at Knott's Scary Farm, L.A. Gear dancer at various sports conventions, throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.
