Pickle Line Wet Lab Operator

- Performed laboratory tests such as acid titrations 3 times a shift and pH levels in the rinse system, sewer, and neutralizer tank
- Calibrated and maintained lab equipment to ensure accuracy of results
- Relieve the entry end operator, Exit end operator, and floor operator for their 30min lunch breaks and 15min breaks
- Remove and install squeegee rolls and hook the drive shafts back up
- Load and unload squeegee rolls with a fork lift on and off a semi trailer.
- Clean and repair/build the bearings for the next set of rolls that come in.
- Receive in raw acid and send out ferrous chloride.
- Do boiler checks and make sure they are running properly.
- Recorded data accurately and in a timely manner and made proper adjustments to the line so the acid levels and ph levels were correct to keep running.
- Maintained a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
- Monitored production processes to ensure compliance with standards.
- Organized inventory of supplies needed for laboratory and line operations.

- Managed and organized the receiving of all incoming shipments.
- Ensured accuracy in recording product information into inventory system.
- Maintained a safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and policies.
- Inspected incoming coils for damages or defects before accepting them and called a supervisor to come and approve the coil if there was damage.
- Was a clerk and recieved in hundreds of coils
- Was an extra. As I would take the recieved paperwork from the clerk that had our coil number on it to write the coil number on the coil, measure the width, ID, and use a micrometer to get the guage for the clerk to input it information into the system.
- Drove the Kalmar. Had about 1500 hours loading and unloading trucks. I also would put the coils away in the coil field where I would write down the coil number and the location. At the end of the shift would turn that paper into the clerk.
- Was a remote crane operator. I have loaded and unloaded coils off of trucks on and off for 3.5 years.
- Efficiently loaded coils on to the transfer cart for the pickle line. I had to go off of the scheduled order of coils, locate the coil, weigh and write the weight on the coil, and stage coils for the next cart and load them as they need them.
