Since working at Walmart I’ve been part of a lot of different teams.
While working at Sam's Club I wore a lot of different hats and that taught me how to multi-task and taught me how important customer satisfaction is. I was considered a "Front Line Team Member." I worked as a cashier up front. I also opened and closed in the liquor store and in tobacco. Whenever help was needed I worked at the gas station, customer service, club pick-up and on the sales floor (zoning and putting items away.)
I gained a lot of retail and customer service experience working at Target. I learned how to work with a team to accomplish set goals and learned how to properly work with customers to find out exactly what they want and how to give it them in an timely and appropriate manner.
While working here I learned how to lead a team and worked more on my communication skills. I learned how important good work attendance is and how significant team work really is to achieve all the goals that need to be met.
This was my first job. I learned the basics of how jobs work and how the real world operates. I learned how to use a cash register, time management, communication skills and how to work with others.
