• After COVID 19 hit, Hilda Galvez and I started a small Non-Profit where we would send “care packages” to towns in Honduras where certain things like oil, rice, spices, blankets, clothes and other essentials could not be reached. We send two to three big boxes to different rural towns where the things inside could last certain families for over 3 months. We do this two to three times a year.

My Role:

• Assisted with special events and programs. (On the other side of the project which was in Honduras)
• Made sure small groups met deadlines.
• Scheduled shipping dates.
• Placed orders from suppliers and small businesses.
• Stayed in firm contact with the company that we were partnered with at the time.

• Tutored high school and elementary school students to improve their Spanish reading and speaking fluency.

• Oversaw students in classroom and common areas to monitor, enforce rules, and support lead teacher.
• Graded assignments and reported individual progress to teacher.
• Reviewed lesson material with students individually or in small groups.
• Handled class records for attendance, assignment grades and course participation scores.
• Mentored and tutored individual students needing additional help.
