Darin Nelson

I started in construction when I was 19 worked for small companies in california. I Started with a company laying water mains and installing fire hydrants in Rosamond Ca. then moved on to a company in Tehachapi Ca. pouring concrete for the wind mills in Tehachapi Ca. I move to Las Vegas in 1995 and started working for a company (Kalb construction) building tilt ups and have been doing tilt up construction ever since. I Started out as a labor in the footings as in Vegas we did our own dirt work. I was very motivated and moved up the ladder quick. I started working with the carpenters on form work and got into reading the Plans. From there I started running crews as a forman. I held that position for many years. In 2016 I was contacted by a former employer for an opportunity in Salt lake city utah. Everything was right for my family and to move so we ended up moving and I started working with Frontline concrete. Everything was moving along great, I was a site superintendent but I ended up with some unexpected heath issues and ended up taking some time off. In that period of time the owner sold the company and when I came back to work I was told that my position was no longer available. I took the role that was offered to me as safety inspector, but this is not the position that I have worked for my whole life for and I am looking foreword to getting back to doing what I am good at doing. Which is building projects

I have been in charge of 4 story tilt ups and 3 story. I have been in charge of projects that have been awarded by the TCA. i have counted 5 in Frontlines office that i have been in charge of building.

I am an avid fisherman. Love trout and salmon fishing. I love camping with my wife and Kids
