As Second Electro-Technical Officer, I report to the Chief Electro-Technical Officer and am responsible for the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of onboard electronic, safety, communication, OT and IT systems. I ensure all work is carried out in full compliance with IMO, Flag State, OHSE, and company Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards. My responsibilities include maintaining and fault-finding on satellite and communication systems, PA systems, integrated fire detection systems, CCTV, LAN networks, and data center power supplies. I also oversee the operation and servicing of elevator systems, working closely with the Hotel Department to minimize any impact on guests and crew. In addition, I maintain local entertainment and dimming systems, sliding doors, and other critical safety and security installations. I prepare and manage electrical work permits, implement isolation and lockout/tagout procedures, and draft isolation plans to ensure safe execution of maintenance tasks. I conduct regular inspections of electronic spaces to ensure systems remain fully operational and maintained to a high standard. Daily coordination with the Chief ETO and the electrical team allows for effective planning and smooth execution of maintenance activities. I manage spare parts and consumables responsibly to maintain readiness while controlling costs. I also ensure that all maintenance work is accurately recorded in the Planned Maintenance System to support reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

As 3rd ETO i was in charge of mentioned equipment- routine inspections and troubleshooting on galley equipment, tender boats, lifeboats, shell doors, lifting cranes, and accommodation ladders to maintain safety and functionality, so as all hotel related electrical equipment, also during the contract, entrusted with increased responsibility in preparation for promotion to Second Electro-Technical Officer (2nd ETO)

• AWP (2nd electrical position)
• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of elevators and their alarm systems, AC ventilation systems serving multiple fire zones, and electrical substations. My area of responsibility includes potable water treatment systems, grey and black water systems, advanced wastewater treatment plants, and fresh water production through evaporators and reverse osmosis units. I oversee chlorine production systems, chlorination and pH control equipment, and ballast water treatment systems. I support the electrical operation of ballast, heeling, bilge, and sludge pump systems. I also maintain incinerators, garbage handling equipment, and food waste processing systems.

• Special project(2nd Electrical position)
• Responsible for operation and maintenance of retractable funnel system and solarium roof mechanism, ensuring their safe and reliable performance.Wheelhouse window washing and wiper systems. My responsibilities include maintenance and troubleshooting of search lights, navigation lights, Morse lamps, and vessel signaling systems. I support GEZE glass sliding door systems to ensure safe and continuous operation. I am responsible for elevators with alarm systems. North Star observation system and onboard entertainment attractions such as iFLY skydiving, FlowRider with chlorination and pH control systems, and bumper cars. I maintain and troubleshoot the air lubrication system to support vessel efficiency and performance. I am responsible for air compressors supplying breathing apparatus systems and support the operation of the scrubber system in line with environmental requirements.

• Throughout my third contract as 4th Electrical Engineer I was working with fire doors, watertight doors, Schindler elevators and assisting 2nd Electrical Engineers with their electrical equipment. I was also in regular Duty Electrical Engineer loop

• Under supervision of 1st Electrical Engineer, I was assisting him in the jobs regarding main diesel engines (WARTSILA), azipod entries, HV isolations, bow thrusters, stabilizers and Valmet

• In charge of hotel equipment such as guest and crew cabins, low location lights, forklifts, galleys, automatic sliding doors. Working under supervision of Electronics Engineer for fire detection system Autronica (calibration and replacament of smoke detectors, manual call points), maintenance of all bridge and navigation equipment

• As Electrician cadet onboard Jewel OTS, my main occupancy was assisting all the 2nd Electrical Engineers so as work orders, fault finding and troubleshooting. I got familiar with the ships overall electrical systems and main principle of work, and also being able to troubleshoot on my own electrical equipment when the opportunity was given.

• After working for 2 years as a technician I got promoted to the leader of the same department. With this position I have managed to get better view and skills regarding management in order to lead the team and job organising

• As a technician for high voltage stations I have developed skills with 110/25 KV transformers, HV circuit breakers (vacuum, SF6), LV circuit breakers (air), LV transformers (690V, 440V, 230V) and also working on heights and LV installations
