  • During my tenure at Best Buy/Geek Squad I trained sales associates as well as install agents. A point of interest to myself was that my time in sales placed me in the department that answered phone calls and was the switchboard for the rest of the store. This allowed an opportunity to increase my customer service experience by filtering clients to the proper department after vetting their questions and interests. Once I was able to move to Geek Squad and install the appliances I had been selling I was also paired with multiple other agents. Each agent worked in a different way but got the same job done which grew me in a rounded knowledge of my new responsibilities. Just before Geek Squad shut down the hub I was working from I was given an agent to specifically train and through conversations he informed me of the ways I helped him work through situations both on the job and in his personal life. Showing him how to take charge with confidence to care for those around him was a notable highlight.

  • I moved to Florida to help open a location for Maple Street Biscuit Company. I was very close to the manager and as such I assisted in store operation. For the initial months I was among the first to show up and certainly the last to leave ensuring duties were completed properly. After proving to be able to manage the location I was offered the opportunity to travel and train other stores to prepare for grand openings. In the following months I was able to train 6 teams of approximately 20 to fulfill every task needed to operate the restaurant in a 2 week timespan with my training team.
