Darius Morar

As a motivated and enthusiastic Computer Science student, I am actively seeking an internship opportunity in a Software Developer Role. With a strong foundation in several programming languages, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to real- world projects. Through my academic coursework and personal projects, I have gained lots of valuable experience and knowledge in designing, developing, and testing software. I have learned to collaborate well in a team, time-management skills, how to teach myself, and more. I am eager to contribute my technical expertise and dedication to a team.

Smart Home Mobile App

• I worked with a team of fellow computer science students for our capstone project to develop a smart home app that controls IoT devices such as speakers, lights, and the thermostat. We used many software to make this happen such as React Native for the app, Firebase and MongoDB for the database, and many more.

Social Media App

• This app is a basic social media app that has general functionalities such as posting pictures, liking, commenting, and interacting with other users; but the main component is that the app uses SQL queries to write and read from a local database

Dot building Game

• I created a GUI in Java that allows the user to place dots on the screen and then interact with them by the program connecting the dots, or grouping them together by proximity. In this project, I had to use sprints, find out the exact requirements from the end user, design the project with UML diagrams, program with Java Swing using. Git Version Control, use metrics like eLOC to optimize, and test the project using JUnit.
