- Developed strategies to increase student engagement and retention rates through advising and support services

- Reviewed approaches that would implement new policies in classes for the wellbeing of students while recognizing the negatives and positives to these approaches

- Collaborated with faculty to develop support programs and resources that addressed the diverse needs of students

- Analyzed student data to identify trends and develop solutions to improve student success rates

- Built connections and relationships with organizations across the Bay Area and basic needs impacted communities at BCC

- Worked with other student assistants to create, attend, and facilitate outreach events while also being selected as a presenter for the 2024 California Conference (CHEBNA)

- Events are centered around meeting the basic needs of BCC students including information about housing, food, mental health, financial wellness, transportation resources, healthcare, etc

- Conduct presentations about Basic Needs resources and increased the awareness of Basic Needs resources and services offered by Berkeley City College

- Mentored two interns for 8 weeks to prepare and support them for workshops as aspiring Student Assistants

- Build and maintain relationships with community members to create a engaging environment for mentoring

- Provide ongoing support and guidance to mentees to help them achieve their personal and professional goals
