Accomplishments

While working with the Occupational Course of Study Program at Richlands High School, I received a Bright Ideas grant for $1500 from Jones-Onslow Electric Membership Corporation to expand our greenhouse. Students learned through their Science curriculum about all aspects of plants and worked at every level from planting, tending, harvesting, and selling to school personnel and community members.


While working with the Occupational Course of Study Program at Richlands High School, I received a Knights of Columbus scholarship of $500 to use to further develop the Occupational Course of Study curriculum and purchase necessary teaching resources.
