Darlene Trappier was chosen to represent New Jersey in the USA Today Women of the year award for 2023.
Darlene Trappier was chosen to attend the Feeding America Conference in New Orleans for 2023
NJ Senator Troy Singleton presented Darlene Trappier with a Ceremonial Resolution for the work that she does in the community from the NJ Senate.
Ms. Trappier is renowned as a social services administrator with more than 25 years of service to others in her community. She initially pursued an education at Santa Monica College, graduating with an Associate of Arts in political science and government in 1980.
Since 2010, Ms. Trappier has excelled as the executive director of Beacon of Hope Incorporated of New Jersey.
From 1998 to 2002, Ms. Trappier flourished as an assistant manager for the Tri-State Health and Welfare Fund. She subsequently found success as the owner and the operator of My Dollar Store from 2002 to 2007.
She believes that life gives back what we put into it and prospers in the power of changing lives incrementally.
