Oversees sanitation function to ensure compliance with company, customer, industry,quality management programs,and food safety systems,such as HACCP(Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, GMP's(Good Manufacturing Practices) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures(SSOPs) in support of the plants quality department .

Manage the chemical control and usage program and verify sanitation tasks are being performed adequately at their defined required frequencies. Develop and maintain clear objectives for each position within the sanitation department and janitorial housekeeping team.

Monitor KPIs of each sanitation department and fostering a safe working Provide training and coaching which allows each associate to perform at their best and deliver results in a continuous process improvement environment.

Works cross functionally with internal customers and responds quickly to special cleaning request. Order and maintains cleaning responsibilities . Work with maintenance on chemical line flushing, CAPAs for sanitation deficiencies. Ensue all associates understand s the vision of our company.

• Supervised team of 2 employees to maintain optimal performance and consistent operations of the starter make process.

• Oversee a crew of 7 employees responsible for cleaning Redline rooms Wet and Dry
• Handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, sanitizers and chemical concentrations, receiving, storing and unloading bulk tankers and bulk salt
• Collaborate extensively with other department staff to ensure that food safety and work space cleanliness are being implemented
• Create and maintain an efficient, hygienic and positive working environment

• Moved product to the next station for further processing or packaging
• Responsible for operations and cleaning Units, MF, UF, and RO for the evaporator dryer system.

• Responsible for Nonfat and Lactose packaging for final product going to customers, and external packaging.

• Responsible for a crew of 21 employees, responsible for tear down and detailed cleaning of all production equipment as well as ensuring entire production facility are kept at an impeccable level of cleanliness
• Understand and adhere to government regulations and documentation requirements
• Comply with USDA and HACCP programs
• Follows Allergen Management Program, minor equipment maintenance and cleaning according to USDA, FDA, and SQF specifications and procedures.

• Trained on all areas in cheese department Vats, DMC, Preheat, Milk Receiving, Mixers, Extruders, GRD, Finesaver, P2, and Brine
• Moved products to the next station for further processing or packaging.

• Duties include running the production areas of clean up after shut down
• Equipment included conveyors, freezer, eagle dicers, platforms, box room and palletizer
• Duties also included being crossed trained in Cheese department.
